Container Booth Assistance for MSMEs

To beautify the area while providing a representative public space for teenagers and the general public, the West Bangka Regency Government, in collaboration with the Muntok branch of Bank Sumsel Babel, has constructed a Community Park in the vicinity of the Kelapa District terminal and market.  The development of this park is the result of an inter-agency collaboration, involving the Department of Housing and Settlement Areas (Perkim), the Department of Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises, and Trade (DKUP), the Kelapa District Office, local market vendors, and the surrounding community.

The Community Park serves as a multifunctional green open space—not merely a place for gathering and social interaction, but also a venue for sports and creative expression for the younger generation. In the future, the park will also feature a mural area, providing a space for local artists to showcase their creativity.  The provision of this support, part of Bank Sumsel Babel’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, coincided with the handover of the Regent of West Bangka position from Markus to H. Yusderahman on Tuesday (June 3, 2025). Achmad Syamsudin, President Director of Bank Sumsel Babel, accompanied by Dedy Zulkarnain, Head of the BSB Muntok branch, symbolically presented the contribution to the local government.  "Bank Sumsel Babel remains committed to supporting sustainable development in Bangka Belitung. We hope this Community Park becomes a vibrant new space that brings social and environmental benefits," stated Achmad Syamsudin in his remarks.  This initiative serves as a tangible example of synergy between the banking sector and the local government in improving environmental quality and strengthening social cohesion within the community.
