Born in Metro, Lampung on September 2, 1968, he is a Bachelor's graduate from Tulang Bawang University, Bandar Lampung, with long and in-depth experience in the national banking industry, especially in business management and micro services. Prior to serving as Business Director of Bank Sumsel Babel, he held various strategic positions at PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk, which became the foundation of his leadership and strengthened his expertise in network development and transformation of banking operational models. Some of the important positions he has held include Area Head Bank Mandiri - Palembang Area (2021-2024), Area Head Bank Mandiri - Jambi Area (2019-2021), Microbanking Head Region II (2016-2019), Business Support Head Region VIII (2015-2016), and Microbanking Head Region VIII (2013-2015). All of these assignments reflect his consistency in leading strategic business units and his success in driving financing portfolio growth and operational effectiveness in various regions. With a strong background and commitment to strengthening business performance based on market needs, he now plays an important role in accelerating the contribution of Bank Sumsel Babel as a major financial partner in the South Sumatra and Bangka Belitung regions.

Prior to his appointment as a Director, he held various strategic positions demonstrating consistent leadership, a deep understanding of the dynamics of the banking industry, and a commitment to good governance. His most recent position was as Supervisor of the Bank Sumsel Babel Employee Welfare Foundation. From 2022 to 2023, he was also entrusted with the position of Head of the Strategic Planning and Business Ecosystem Division. Previously, he served as Lubuk Linggau Branch Manager (2019-2022), Marketing Unit Manager (2015-2019), Branch Business and Development Manager of Branch Business Division (2014-2015), Sungailiat Branch Manager (2012-2014), Middle and Corporate Credit Manager of Credit Division (2011-2012), Prabumulih Branch Manager (2010-2011) and his various cross-functional experiences reflect his capabilities and resilience in leading other critical units that contribute to the achievement of Bank Sumsel Babel's vision and mission in driving sustainable regional economic growth.
Festero Mohamad Papeko has served as Operational Director of Bank Sumsel Babel since 2025. He was born in Jakarta on July 22, 1980. After completing his Bachelor's degree (S1) in Accounting Economics from Sriwijaya University Palembang, he began his career in banking as a participant in the First Batch of Officer Development Program (ODP) of Bank Sumsel Babel.
During his career, Festero Mohamad Papeko has held various important positions within Bank Sumsel Babel. He served as Branch Manager of Bank Sumsel Babel Mentok from 2016 to 2018. After that, he was trusted as Head of Accounting and Sharia Business Unit Development from 2018 to 2021. His career continued as Head of Sharia Business Division of Bank Sumsel Babel from 2021 to 2025. In each of his assignments, he demonstrated a high commitment to strengthening operational systems and developing services based on customer needs.
As Director of Operations, he is responsible for managing and supervising the bank's overall operational functions, including optimizing business processes, service efficiency, and improving the quality of service to customers. With his in-depth experience and understanding in the fields of operations, accounting, and Islamic banking, Festero Mohamad Papeko is expected to be able to strengthen Bank Sumsel Babel's operational performance in supporting sustainable business growth and oriented towards good governance.

Before being appointed as Director of Compliance and Risk Management, he has held various strategic positions that demonstrate consistency in leadership, a deep understanding of the dynamics of the banking industry, and a commitment to good governance. His last position was as a Member of the Risk Monitoring Committee of Bank Sumsel Babel, where he actively provided views and recommendations related to strategic risk management. In 2021, he was also trusted as the Ad-hoc Team Leader for the Implementation of the Re-organization Structure, playing an important role in the organizational transformation process that has an impact on increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of the bank's operations. Previously, he served as Head of the Compliance Division (2019–2021), Head of the Treasury & International Division (2016–2019), and Head of the Information Technology Division (2014–2016), and has led operations in the region as Head of the Indralaya Branch (2013–2014). Drs. H. Edward Chandra, M.H. was born in Talang Balai Baru on September 6, 1972. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Constitutional Law from Sriwijaya University and continued his education in Public Administration at the same university. With an academic background in law and public administration, he has a long track record in the South Sumatra Provincial Government with various strategic positions that demonstrate his leadership capacity and understanding of good governance. His career includes positions as Head of the Government Bureau of the South Sumatra Provincial Secretariat (2016), Assistant I for Government and Public Welfare of the South Sumatra Provincial Secretariat, and has served as Acting Regent of Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU) for the 2021–2022 period. In addition, he was also trusted as Acting Head of the South Sumatra Provincial Environment and Land Service before finally being appointed as Regional Secretary of South Sumatra Province. With extensive experience in government bureaucracy and cross-sector leadership, he now plays a vital role as President Commissioner at Bank Sumsel Babel, contributing to strengthening synergies between local governments and banking entities to support inclusive and sustainable development.
Zakaria Wahab was born in Baturaja on July 14, 1957. He studied for a Bachelor of Business Economics at Sriwijaya University (Unsri), then continued his Master of Business Administration program at Wright State University, United States. He completed his doctoral education at Padjadjaran University with a concentration in Economics.
In the academic field, Zakaria Wahab has extensive experience. He is known as a Lecturer in the Postgraduate Program (S2 and S3) at Sriwijaya University, and has served as Head of the Management Department of the Faculty of Economics, Sriwijaya University and a Member of the Senate of Sriwijaya University. In addition, he has also served as Dean of the Faculty of Economics, IBA University, Palembang, Vice Chancellor at IBA University, and Chancellor of Prabumulih University. Finally, he is also listed as Director of the Postgraduate Program at Lembah Dempo University.
With a strong academic background and extensive leadership experience in the world of higher education, Zakaria Wahab is expected to provide strategic contributions in the supervision and development of Bank Sumsel Babel, especially in terms of governance and sustainable economic policies.
Born in Belitung on November 8, 1971, he completed his Bachelor's degree (S1) at Sriwijaya University and has pursued a professional career in various industrial sectors, especially in the managerial field and strategic relationship management with stakeholders. Prior to serving as Independent Commissioner of Bank Sumsel Babel, he had extensive experience in the private sector with a track record that reflects capabilities in operational management, business development, and key client relationship management. His career began as Operational Manager at PT Glady Palmando Mandiri, Jakarta in 1995, then served as Sub Unit Manager at PT Asuransi Staco Raharja, Cikini Branch Jakarta in 1997, and then occupied a strategic position as Manager/Key Account Manager at PT Sanofi Aventis in 2013. These various positions demonstrate his commitment and consistency in managing responsibilities in various industrial sectors, which are now important provisions in carrying out the role of supervision and providing strategic advice as an Independent Commissioner at Bank Sumsel Babel, especially in maintaining the integrity of corporate governance and ensuring the sustainability of healthy and professional performance.

In 2019, he was also entrusted as the Head of the Branch Business Division. Previously, he served as the Head of the Muara Enim Branch (2017-2014), the Head of the Muntok Branch (2014-2010). Lahir di Pangkalpinang pada 09 April 1970. Beliau meraih gelar S1 Teknik Geologi di Universitas Gadjah Mada (1995). Dengan latar belakang akademik di bidang hukum dan administrasi publik, beliau memiliki rekam jejak panjang di pemerintahan Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung dengan berbagai posisi strategis yang menunjukkan kapasitas kepemimpinan dan pemahamannya terhadap tata kelola pemerintahan yang baik. Sebelum menjabat sebagai Komisaris Non Independen beliau memulai karir di Pemerintahan Kabupaten Bangka 2000-2008, selain itu beliau juga pernah menjabat sebagai Kepala Badan Lingkungan Hidup Daerah (2014-2016), Kepala Badan Keuangan Daerah (2016-2022), Kepala Dinas Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan (2022-2025), Pj. Sekretaris daerah (2025-sekarang). Dengan pengalaman yang luas di birokrasi pemerintahan dan kepemimpinan lintas sektor, beliau kini menjalankan peran penting sebagai Komisaris Utama di Bank Sumsel Babel, berkontribusi dalam memperkuat sinergi antara pemerintah daerah dan entitas perbankan untuk mendukung pembangunan yang inklusif dan berkelanjutan.
