Rianda Pratama, Branch Manager of Bank Sumsel Babel in Lubuklinggau, accompanied the Mayor of Lubuklinggau, H. Rachmat Hidayat, during the handover and inauguration of a house renovated under Bank Sumsel Babel’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) "Home Renovation Program" on Tuesday, December 16, 2025. The house, supported by this CSR initiative, is located on Jalan Puskesmas, RT 05, Cereme Taba Village, Lubuk Linggau Timur II District, Lubuklinggau City.

The Mayor expressed his appreciation and gratitude to Bank Sumsel Babel and all parties who contributed and consistently supported the initiatives of the Lubuklinggau City Government—including local government officials, heads of relevant regional agencies (OPD), sub-district and neighborhood (RT) representatives, and the local community. "We are grateful for the completion of this CSR home renovation project, which the community has long awaited. Thank God, today we have witnessed the handover of this CSR-supported home. It reflects a genuine commitment and collaboration between the Lubuklinggau City Government and Bank Sumsel Babel to improve the welfare of the community," said H. Rachmat Hidayat.

Highlighting this commitment, the Mayor also shared that Lubuklinggau City secured first place in the 2025 "BERES" (Clean, Beautiful, and Prosperous) Award—a provincial-level recognition in South Sumatra for efforts to eliminate substandard housing—presented at the Swarna Dwipa Hotel on Tuesday, December 9, 2025. "This achievement is the result of hard work and synergy among various parties, including Bank Sumsel Babel, despite the limitations of the regional budget," he explained.

The Mayor noted that there are currently approximately 732 substandard houses (RTLH) remaining in Lubuklinggau City. For 2026, the Lubuklinggau City Government plans to renovate 150 of these substandard homes using the regional budget (APBD). Despite limited regional budget (APBD) resources—compounded by a reduction of IDR 180 billion in central government financial transfers—the Lubuk Linggau City Government remains undeterred in its efforts to improve the welfare of its citizens. "Through various initiatives, including special financial assistance from the Governor of South Sumatra, we are confident that the renovation of 150 uninhabitable houses (RTLH) will proceed as planned in 2026. Our goal is that by 2029, there will no longer be any uninhabitable houses in Lubuk Linggau City," he stated.

On the same occasion, the Mayor expressed his hope that the housing assistance provided through the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program of Bank Sumsel Babel would offer tangible benefits to the recipients—specifically Mr. Andi—thereby enhancing his family's quality of life and overall well-being.
