CSR Support Mobile Unit for On-Site Medical Check-Ups (MCU)
The Regent of Muara Enim, H. Edison, S.H., M.Hum., attended the 2025 grand prize draw for the "Tabungan Pesirah" savings program, hosted by Bank Sumsel Babel on the grounds of the Pancasila Sports Hall (GOR) in Muara Enim on Wednesday (April 15, 2026). The event also included the handover of a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) contribution: a Toyota Hilux vehicle to serve as a mobile unit for medical check-ups (MCU) at the Dr. H. M. Rabain Regional General Hospital (RSUD) in Muara Enim.
In his remarks, Regent Edison commended the "Tabungan Pesirah" program, noting its consistent success in encouraging the public to cultivate a habit of saving. He highlighted that the annual grand prize serves as both a token of appreciation for customers and a motivation for the public to continue participating. "This program not only provides economic benefits but also fosters a culture of saving within the community," said Edison.
Furthermore, the Regent emphasized that the CSR contribution—the mobile medical check-up vehicle—would significantly enhance healthcare services at Dr. H. M. Rabain Hospital. He noted that this facility would help accelerate and expand access to health screenings for the public. He also underscored the importance of regular health check-ups as a means to maintain a good quality of life. "Health is the primary asset for productivity and well-being. With this mobile unit, it will be easier for the public to undergo early detection screenings," he added. Regent Edison viewed the initiative by Bank Sumsel Babel as a clear example of synergy between the government, the business sector, and the community in supporting regional development. He expressed hope that this initiative would inspire other companies to contribute through their own CSR programs.
Meanwhile, Edwar Octavidy, Head of the Muara Enim Branch of Bank Sumsel Babel, reaffirmed his institution's commitment to providing tangible contributions to the community. "This is part of our corporate social responsibility to improve the well-being and quality of life for the people of Muara Enim," he stated.
