Requirements and Procedures for Opening an Account

For Individual customers in the form of e-KTP / KK for Indonesian citizens and Passports by attaching KIMS / KITAS / KITAP / ID card for foreigners / a certificate from the company where they work.
For Non-Individuals in the form of;
a.    Power of Attorney for appointment of account management
b.    Evidence from the management / authorized official (in the form of SK, appointment letter, composition of the management, approval of the board of commissioners as stipulated in the AD / ART, deed of establishment and its amendments
c.    E-KTP / Passport of the authorizer and recipient of the power of attorney.
d. The deed of establishment and its amendments
e. Articles of Association and Bylaws (AD/ART)
f. Licensing documents in the form of Business Identification Number (NIB) and licenses / Standard Certificates in accordance with applicable regulations.
g. NPWP
Fill out and sign the Account Opening Application and Approval Form.

Deposits at Bank Sumsel Babel with a balance of more than Rp 2,000,000,000,- (two billion rupiah) or that earn interest rates above the guarantee rate set by the Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS) are not included in the LPS guarantee program. If something happens to the Bank that causes risk to deposit funds, balances beyond the guaranteed limit will not get protection from LPS.
A Certificate of Deposit whose certificate is lost can only be withdrawn after the certificate of deposit has expired (10 years from the maturity date).

Additional Information

The Certificate of Deposit is tradable and transferable by way of delivery.
Disbursement of the Certificate of Deposit at the principal amount stated on the certificate can only be done on the maturity date or afterward as long as it has not expired *) by re-submitting the Certificate of Deposit by the Certificate of Deposit holder.
Certificate of Deposit can be used as loan collateral with reference to the applicable provisions in Bank Sumsel Babel Babel.
Certificate of Deposit interest is calculated and paid in advance.
Income tax on Certificate of Deposit interest is subject to applicable tax provisions.
In the event of loss, the owner/carrier of the Certificate of Deposit must report the loss by bringing a Certificate of Loss from the Police to the Certificate of Deposit Issuing Office before the Certificate of Deposit expires*). Disbursement of the Certificate of Deposit that is declared lost can only be done after the Certificate expires*).
Certificate of Deposit that has expired*) but not disbursed will become the right of Bank Sumsel Babel Babel.
The loss of the Certificate of Deposit by the owner/carrier and all the consequences caused are entirely outside the responsibility of Bank Sumsel Babel Babel
