Risks

  1. For the convenience and security of transactions, customers are required to provide information and/or personal data that is true, accurate, and in accordance with the actual conditions. If there are errors or data discrepancies, the customer will be responsible for any risks or consequences that arise.
  2. The customer is fully responsible for the confidentiality and security of the account, including PIN, password, and access to digital banking services (e-channel). In the event of misuse by other parties, such as data theft or fraud, the risk is fully borne by the customer. Make sure to always maintain the confidentiality of data and not give it to anyone, including those who claim to be Bank officers.
  3. Deposits at Bank Sumsel Babel with a balance of more than Rp2,000,000,000 (two billion rupiah) or that earn interest rates above the guarantee rate set by the Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS) are not included in the LPS guarantee programme. If something happens to the Bank that causes risk to deposit funds, balances beyond the guaranteed limit will not get protection from LPS.
  4. SimPel Savings interest rates are subject to change at any time in accordance with the Bank's policy and market conditions. This change may affect the amount of interest received by the Customer. Therefore, it is advisable to always monitor the latest information regarding interest rates in order to make informed financial decisions.
  5. In certain situations, banking services may be disrupted due to factors beyond the Bank's control, such as system disruptions, power outages, natural disasters, or government policies. The Bank will endeavour to provide the best solution in such circumstances, however, customers need to understand that there is a risk of transaction delays or disruptions in certain circumstances.
  6. As Tabungan SimPel is intended for children, access and transactions on this account are generally controlled by parents or legal guardians. Customers need to understand that there are restrictions on the use of the account by children, especially in relation to withdrawals and digital transactions.
  7. As a child savings product, there is a risk that the child may not fully understand the concept of saving and financial management. It is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to provide financial education so that the child can understand the benefits and how to use this savings account wisely.
  8. If the account is inactive for a certain period of time or the balance falls below the minimum applicable requirements, the Bank reserves the right to close the account in accordance with applicable policies. Customers need to ensure that the account remains active by conducting regular transactions.

  1. If there are any changes to the benefits, fees, risks, and terms and conditions of Tabungan Pesirah, the Bank will notify customers at least 30 working days before the changes take effect. This notification will be delivered by mail, website, or other media according to the Bank's policy
  2. Customers can check their balance and transaction history at any time through Bank Sumsel Babel's digital banking services, such as mobile banking and internet banking.
  3. Customers can access the complete RIPLAY Tabungan SimPel document through Bank Sumsel Babel's official website or by visiting the nearest branch office.
  4. Cash withdrawals at school can be made a maximum of 2 times/month with a maximum nominal of Rp250,000 per withdrawal, except when the customer wants to close the account.  Withdrawals above 2 times/month and or above the nominal value of Rp250,000.00 can only be made at the bank by following the bank's provisions.
  5. Accounts with no transactions for 12 (twelve) consecutive months are declared as dormant accounts and will automatically be charged a penalty fee of Rp1,000.00 per month. If the account balance reaches =Rp5,000.00, the account can be closed automatically by the system with an account closing fee of the remaining balance.
  6. SimPel savings account closure can be done through the nearest Bank Sumsel Babel branch office by bringing physical and/or digital KTP-el/KIA/KK and SimPel savings book.
  1. The Bank has the right to reject the application for opening an account or other products if you do not meet the applicable terms and conditions.
