Requirements and Procedures for Opening an Account

Bring documents in the form of;
For Individual customers in the form of e-KTP / KK for Indonesian citizens and Passports by attaching KIMS / KITAS / KITAP / KTP for foreigners / a certificate from the company where they work.
For Non-Individuals in the form of; a. Power of Attorney for the appointment of account management b. Proof of the management / authorised officer (in the form of SK, appointment letter, composition of the management, approval of the board of commissioners as stipulated in the AD / ART, deed of establishment and its amendments c. E-KTP / Passport of the giver and recipient of the power of attorney. d. Deed of establishment and its amendments e. Articles of Association and Bylaws (AD/ART) f. Licensing documents in the form of Business Identification Number (NIB) and licences / Standard Certificates in accordance with applicable regulations. g. NPWP

Risks
As a Simpeda Savings Customer, it is important to understand some risks that may arise in using this product.
For the convenience and security of transactions, Customers are required to provide information and/or personal data that is true, accurate, and in accordance with actual conditions. In the event of errors or data discrepancies, the customer will be responsible for any risks or consequences arising.
The customer is fully responsible for the confidentiality and security of the account, including PIN, password, and access to digital banking services (e-channel). In the event of misuse by other parties, such as data theft or fraud, the risk is fully borne by the customer. Make sure to always maintain the confidentiality of data and not give it to anyone, including those who claim to be Bank officers.
Deposits at Bank Sumsel Babel with a balance of more than Rp2,000,000,000 (two billion rupiah) or that earn interest rates above the guarantee rate set by the Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS) are not included in the LPS guarantee programme. If something happens to the Bank that causes risk to deposit funds, balances beyond the guaranteed limit will not get protection from LPS.
Simpeda Savings interest rates are subject to change at any time in accordance with the Bank's policy and market conditions. These changes may affect the amount of interest received by the Customer. Therefore, it is advisable to always monitor the latest information regarding interest rates in order to make informed financial decisions.
In certain situations, banking services may be disrupted due to factors beyond the Bank's control, such as system disruptions, power outages, natural disasters, or government policies. The Bank will endeavour to provide the best solution in such circumstances, however the Customer needs to understand that there is a risk of transaction delays or disruptions in certain circumstances.
Simulation
The fund development result in Simpeda Savings is indicative. The final value of the fund development result can be greater or lesser depending on the prevailing interest rate during the saving period. The actual value is what is recorded in the Bank's system.
Simpeda savings interest is credited to the customer's account at the beginning of each month on the 1st, except in December (credited on 31 December). In the simulation example, the total interest for February 2025 will be credited on 1 March 2025 to the customer's account. Simpeda Savings interest is subject to Income Tax (PPh) at the rate in accordance with applicable regulations.

As a Simpeda Savings Customer, it is important for you to understand the following information in order to use this product comfortably and safely.
If there are changes related to the benefits, fees, risks, and terms and conditions of Simpeda Savings, the Bank will notify customers at least 30 working days before the changes take effect. This notification will be delivered via letter, website, or other media according to the Bank's policy.
Customers can check their balance and transaction history at any time through Bank Sumsel Babel's digital banking services, such as mobile banking and internet banking.
Customers can access the complete RIPLAY Tabungan Simpeda document through Bank Sumsel Babel's official website or by visiting the nearest branch office.
Customers can open a Simpeda Savings account through Bank Sumsel Babel's Customer On Boarding (COB) or come directly to a Bank Sumsel Babel branch office.
Simpeda Savings accounts with no transactions for 12 consecutive months will be categorised as dormant accounts.
Simpeda Savings account with zero balance and no transaction for 3 consecutive months will be closed automatically by the system.
Simpeda savings account closure can be done through the nearest Bank Sumsel Babel branch office by bringing physical and/or digital KTP-el and Simpeda savings book.
