For Non-Individuals in the form of; a. Power of Attorney for the appointment of account management b. Evidence from the management/authorised officer (in the form of SK, Letter of appointment, composition of the management, approval of the board of commissioners as stipulated in the AD/ART, deed of establishment and its amendments). c. Product Risk
As a Demang Current Account Customer at Bank Sumsel Babel, it is important for you to understand some of the risks that may arise in using this product, so that you can use your current account wisely and safely.
Customer is responsible for the use of cheque or bilyet giro. In the event of loss, forgery or misuse by irresponsible parties, the Bank cannot provide compensation unless an official blocking procedure has been carried out. It is important to store and use cheques/bilyet giro carefully.
Withdrawal of funds by cheque or bilyet giro that is not supported by sufficient balance may result in transaction rejection (dishonor) and administrative sanctions in accordance with applicable regulations. In certain circumstances, this may also have legal implications.
A current account may be blocked due to an official request from the customer, a court decision, or a request from an authorised agency. Under such circumstances, all transactions on the account will be suspended until the matter is resolved.
Funds deposited in the current account will be guaranteed by Lembaga Penjamin Simpanan (LPS) as long as the amount of deposits does not exceed IDR2,000,000,000 (two billion rupiah) and the interest rate does not exceed the guarantee rate set by LPS.
Current accounts may be subject to monthly administration fees, penalty fees if the balance is below the minimum, as well as penalties for default transactions.
Simulation
The development result of Demang Giro account is indicative. The final value of the fund development result may be greater or lesser depending on the prevailing interest rate during the deposit period. The actual value is what is recorded in the Bank's system. Demang Current Account Daily Interest Calculation Simulation Example:
Demang Current Account interest is calculated daily and credited to the customer's account at the beginning of each month on the 1st, except in December (credited on 31 December). In the simulation example, the total interest for February 2025 will be credited on 1 March 2025 to the customer's account. Demang Giro interest is subject to Income Tax (PPh) at a rate in accordance with applicable regulations
Additional Information
As a Demang Giro Savings Customer, it is important for you to understand the following information in order to use this product comfortably and safely.
Terms of Use of cheques and/or Bilyet Giro are regulated as follows: a. Customer is responsible for Cheque and/or Bilyet Giro withdrawals including Cheque and/or Bilyet Giro blanks obtained from the Bank. b. Customer must provide sufficient funds in the Current Account or Special Account at least equal to the nominal value of Cheques and/or Bilyet Giro that are still outstanding. c. The Customer will not withdraw Cheques and/or Bilyet Giro blank for any reason. d. The Bank will suspend the right to use Cheque and/or Giro Bill and/or put the Customer's name into the National Black List (‘DHN’), if; 1) the customer makes a Cheque and/or Blank Giro Bill withdrawal that meets the DHN criteria, namely withdrawing 3 (three) or more different Cheques and/or Blank Giro Bill with a nominal value of each below Rp 500,000,000 (five hundred million rupiah) at the same Interested Bank within a period of 6 (six) months, or withdrawing 1 (one) Cheque and/or Blank Giro Bill with a nominal value of Rp 500,000,000 (five hundred million rupiah) or more; 2) the Customer's identity has been included in DHN by another Bank; 3) for other reasons as may be determined from time to time by Bank Indonesia; and/or 4) required by the Government. e. The Customer is obliged to return the remaining blank Cheque and/or Giro Bill to the Bank if the right to use the Cheque and/or Giro Bill is frozen, the Account Owner's identity is included in DHN, or the Giro Account is closed at his/her own request. f. Customer is obliged to report the fulfilment of the obligation to settle the Blank Cheque and/or Bilyet Giro Withdrawal within 7 (seven) business days after the date of rejection. g. All legal claims for any legal consequences arising from the rejection of Blank Cheque and/or Bilyet Giro due to the customer's own negligence are the risk and responsibility of the customer. h. The Customer shall comply with the provisions governing Cheque and/or Bilyet Giro, among others regarding the signing of Cheque and/or Bilyet Giro, the payment of stamp duty, and the Withdrawal of Cheque and/or Bilyet Giro. i. Specifically for joint accounts, all legal consequences arising from the Withdrawal of Cheques and/or Bilyet Giro Empty by one or more Joint Current Account Owners and meeting the DHN criteria, will be the responsibility of all Joint Current Account Owners jointly and severally. j. Cheques and/or Bilyet Giro issued by the Bank may only be used for the customer's own purposes and the customer is fully responsible for the use and consequences by unauthorised persons. k. In using cheque and/or Bilyet Giro to make withdrawals, the customer must fill in the cheque and/or Bilyet Giro in such a way that it is not easily imitated/falsified, the amount of money must be written in such a way that it is impossible to make changes/additions to letters and numbers. The use of data using a cheque-writer is considered non-existent and the Bank will not pay attention to it. The consequences arising from such negligence are the sole responsibility of the customer. l. The Bank is obliged to reject Cheque and/or Giro Bill that meets one or more reasons for rejection as applicable provisions. m. For cheques and/or Bilyet Giro that are lost, the customer is obliged to report it to the Bank along with a certificate of loss from the police. Payments to unreported lost cheques and/or Bilyet Giro are beyond the Bank's responsibility.
If there are changes related to benefits, fees, risks, and terms and conditions of Pesirah Savings, the Bank will notify customers at least 30 working days before the changes take effect. This notification will be delivered via mail, website, or other media according to the Bank's policy.
Customers can check their balance and transaction history at any time through Bank Sumsel Babel's digital banking services, such as internet banking.
Customers can access the complete RIPLAY Giro Demang documents through Bank Sumsel Babel's official website or by visiting the nearest branch office.
Giro Demang accounts with no transactions for 12 consecutive months will be categorised as dormant accounts.
Closing of Demang Current Account can be done through the nearest Bank Sumsel Babel branch office by bringing physical and/or digital KTP-el and the remaining Cheque/Bilyet Giro.
